Exclamation Mexico!!

Well got the opportunity again to relocate to Mexico.
Think I am going to go for it. Should be moving on or before the 1st.

Leaving LA with be easy! Driving through SD without stopping will suck, but I will be a lot closer.

Going to be paying about 3000 per mes.
That is much better than what I am currently paying.

You cut me, I already bleed salsa .

So... Let's hear it! what is your take?

Any junkies still near the border??

I lived in Rosarito for 3.5 years and I have family in TJ and Ensenada, but I haven't been down there in well over 5 years because of all the crime. It's gotten extremely bad and I wouldn't recommend living there no matter how cheap it is. Good luck and make sure you stay safe and watch your back always.

ahh hell LA aint' nothing.
Less big white gangs out on front street like SD.

As for the organized grime down in the TJ area, won't be in Tijuana.
Here(Greater La Area) most of the organized grime is in city council. These council members are very very grimey.

The crime in TJ has gone down some since the major wave 2 years ago. most of the cartel problems are near the texas border these days. Thought that does not mean TJ is a great and safe place to live.

but $238 a month for rent is hard to turn down, that is stinking cheap.

True, but the border traffic is terrible, worse than any LA traffic you can think of. When I lived in Rosarito my dad would commute to his job in Carlsbad, he would leave 3 hours before he had to go in! It was nuts, he was gone pretty much the entire day, main reason why we moved back.

Yeah, listening to KPBS they always give the boarder crossing wait times normally around 2 hours during regular rush times. That would be brutal.

Depends where in mexico you decide to live... havent they gotten shaken up with a few earthquakes lately?! But seriously tho? mexico? why not just relocate to a different state? somewhere where you wont have to worry about your car being stripped down if you leave it in the wrong area of town...

Mexico was Nothing big at all.
Built a house. in Tj, that was an experience. Saw no violence but was offered work by the cartel (moving products and people) its not worth it.
Bought a 81 corolla while there and drifted most of rural tj.
Now back in San Diego after being as far north as Washington state.
Looking for Subaru 80s GDL,GL,GL10. then should be moving back to Washington. Once you get the Boxer rumble in your chest, it never leaves.
I can still hear a Subaru from about a half mile out.

Thanks for hosting all my pics Adam!!

glad you're back, bro. For sure you're one of the OGs from back in the Norm Reeves Subaru days. I think you and I have even done business before? Hopefully one of my duty stations takes me closer to all of you again, and we can plan a BBQ or something.
