Ribs, but then maybe Im being to harsh. Im first generation on the west coast...my family came here from the south so Im some what picky when it comes to southern type foods lmao. As of now Ill stick to Huffmans.

nights, i wouldn't say it sux...
they are a lot better than most bbq places around but nothing to be hype about...
it sure doesn't have that bbq atmosphere...

i worked at Bono's BBQ in florida for 2 years...

I honestly liked nothing about it , If not Huffmans then Smokin Joe Jones (two blocks from Huffmans) and this is after trying literally every BBq spot in S.D county.

i completely agree, phil's sucks.

grew up in south mississippi (though, not a hick :P) and love some bbq...in fact tom jenkins in ft lauderdale is the best i've had.

phil's is just straight chainlike-crap. sauce is no good, and the bbq is nothing special, not even smoked.

bbq house in OB is way better.

ok ok.... i agree phil's blows. the only thing i get theere is the tri-tip sammich, well because you cant really screw it up.

I WAS a professional BBQ guy so i am picky as shit too. my picks for SD, Coop's, huffmans, and then Brazen (but they are way over priced for what it is)
