Default My 2008 WRX Hatch

Here are a few photos of the paint job of the entire front end including scoop with the STI grille and freshly painted STI spoiler.

Here's how it looks since last pics were moved/deleted. Again, it's on RCE/Bilstein suspension.

Needs a serious wash, but gonna get dirty this weekend and can't wax the front for a month, so it will have to wait.

There is a slight blem on the spoiler and the tow hook cover is getting painted since the replacement bumper didn't come with one. So I am going to see if I can get a deal on my mirror covers since they are toasty. Dr. Color Chip is going on the other tiny chips on the door and other spots.

I have a set of 2011 headlights from NASIOC I am going to retro-fit or just go with some good halogens since the shop couldn't fix the borked module on the cheap HID.

Thanks! Gotta fix the paint and that one piece of tint on the driver side, but for 70k mi, it's looking good and still pulls considerably well.

Oh, I also have the 09 WRX grill on there now since the sport grille is also pitted/chipped.

Will update after STI wing and repaint/detail is done.

hit up blue batmobile on nasioc for some red tail light overlays, if you like that kind of thing.

they're cheaper if you meet him in mira mesa to pick up.

Thanks, I will consider it. I heard you need to know what you're doing to get the overlays done right, so that's why I never did them. I don't really mind the stock look now that the chrome hatch trim piece is gone.

I have to spend at least $550 on a new bumper and STI spoiler, plus paint, so anything else is going to have to wait a while. If it looks as good as I expect, I might get an STI front lip.

Thanks! I'm going to the paint shop today for an estimate to repaint my front end and a new STI wing is on order from Subaru Geniune Parts. There's no damage except for severe pitting and paint chips. Can't wait for the front end to look as good as the rest of the car.
