Cool High Flow Cats

I dont know crap about catalytic converter brands to start off. Im thinking of having a 100 or 200 cell cat welded into my exhaust somewhere at sometime...

What are good brands of universal 3'' catalytic converters?

All i know about catalytic converters is that there are metal substrates and ceramic substrates. Supposedly, the metal substrates tend to last longer.
