just curious, why start with springs, to improve the feel of the ride or for looks to help lessen that gap..

I'm trying to do more research about stage 2 and which companies would be best...That would be my ideal first mod(s).

teh car has plenty of power already, get used to teh power 1st. yes, wit teh springs it takes out teh gap and it will give u better handling which means better control. overall teh car will be faster, teh turns anyways...

i would prolly get wheels/tires after teh springs... but being a baller that u is get springs/wheel/ tires/tbe/air freshner (jdm) all at once. ja ja

suspension mods will give you much more improvement in your cars drivability (sp?) you already have alot of power and there's not point in adding more if you can't handle that power (not you per say but the car it's self) . i actually think the best up grade for the money is tires but that's just my humble opinion sturts and springs are another. also look into sways (stiffen the chassis). welcome and enjoy your stay!

Well...the 09 suspension is really good from the factory. Much better than my 08 sways, springs, and shocks. Iv got the STI pinks on mine and the 09 springs are better than them. I say you should go with power mods cuz suspension is good on yours.

but it'd still look like a 4X4... ja ja
it's a brand new car, why lose teh waranty... this should be teh main reason to keep teh motor stock...

suspension first is the way to go. You will be whishing later if you do power fist. Unless you have a high budget and can do all at once suspension is hte way to go. Doesn't matter how good it comes from the factory, it can always be better. But if oyu want the power stage two is good but you will want more after a month or so. You are better off just figuring out what kind of power you wnat ot make and then buy all the parts for it. Once you have them all then install nad tune. Get a protune, way more worht your money then AP. Your tunner can load the maps he gives you on a laptop and that way you can switch them when needed. (open source).

suspension/brakes: sways, coilovers, Stainless steel braided brake lines and some better pads.

That would be my first mods if I had to do it all over again.

Welcome and good luck.

Welcome, If you need spotted cards, hit me up I work in NAtional City. If what they all say is true, then brakes pads, SS lines, and some stickier tires would be ur best bet. i guess. LOL.

you all are forgetting the awjunkies.com stickers!!!! Those add 10+ HP and give 2 times the down force over stock and gives nearly perfect alignment for every application. Plus makes your tires stickier to grip to the road like none other!

It's true. Every single word of it. I feel like Michael Schumacher with two awjunkies.com stickers on my car.

welcome, i just picked up an sti from irvine, great people to work with. almost got swp, if you're looking for some springs that are more function over form i would suggest the rce 'regular guy' springs, most likely what i'll be running on my sti unless i end up going with some coilovers.
