Default Inspired on the drive home...

Driving home from work today a plank of styrofoam blew in front me on the freeway. It was coming straight at me and at the last moment it whipped up and over the car, very close to the hood scoop. Which got me wondering, has anyone ever caught anything in their hoodscoop when they were driving?

Stories?

On my way to Vegas, I caught a huge plastic bag on it. It stayed on for a couple of miles, then flew off. Wife didn't want to take a pic :(

With my STI, I hit (didn't catch) and fox with my fog light cover :)

I did catch a piece of newspaper on my fmic on my dsm. and I was curious why my knock count was a bit higher... ambient temp was pretty low. 70s, and... was at a loss while driving with timing pulls and knocks.
I got home and the newspaper was pretty much covering the entire front opening.

Bugs have ended their life colliding with my scoop. No birds though.

My 6,100-pound Blazer did end the life of a pigeon attempting to fly across the street in front of me a few months back....saw it flying...thought "this is going to be close"....heard the thud then saw the carcass tumbling over me....but didn't feel a thing. I was surprised there was no blood since I was doing 55 when I hit it.

Just hit bugs with the RV...
