Default Smog time!

so i got the infamous notice in the mail, and i need to get my car smoged by mid april. Couple questions for my 05 wagon:
1) I'm fairly heavily tuned:
-vf39, sti pink inj, sti top mount, and a full TBE with a catted cobb dp and invidia up-pipe. AP+pro-tune.

I'm assuming I will fail if no changes are made as all i have is a high flow cat on my COBB DP.

I wanted to just put my DP back on, throw on my old td04 stock turbo and flash back to stock. Thing is, i have sti 565cc injectors, that will cause issues with the stock map won't it?

Just trying to find the quickest way to pass legitimately, or if someone knows a shop that is "tuner friendly" I'd give them a call.

And apologies for the thread in the wrong place, if it needs to be moved, please help!

Thanks

Ben

Stock DP... do you have the heat shield on the turbo? they're not gonna notice the differecne between stock subaru turbocharges.

No heat shield, took those off, have them somewhere. I'm just worried about the injectors, i can put all my other stock parts on in a day, but i had HB do my injector install. Also I think my up-pipe will make me fail visual...

I called a smog shop and they said as long as it isn't after market brands that it would be fine. So my injectors, TMIC, and turbo should be fine, they are considered "replacement" parts i guess.

He will have to stay out of boost completely though correct? If he is pro-tuned for 285whp to those exact parts, can he not F something up if he flashes back to stock and drive?

Randy,

you don't think my injectors and vf39 will cause an issue with stock map? I mean i can baby the thing and keep it out of boost on the 2 mile drive to the smog check, but i just want to make sure i wouldn't be running really rich due to the 565 injectors and vf39 on a stock map...its my daily driver so i CAN NOT break anything...also, you don't think my up-pipe will make me fail visual? Thanks for the response guys!

Hey, I smogged my wrx with the vf30 and all my mods except the external wastegate, and downpipe. with my bandaged tune and passed. Just make sure all your readiness codes are good to go. I also "forced my codes" though my tactrix cable. And PASSED the sniffer with no problems.

Hell I even had my grimmspeed AOS, injen coldair, and ran a block off plate on the uppipe.

This is a small smog shop in national city. Real cool guy. I passed with him.

Just passed yesterday! Just put the stock dp and exhaust on, didn't even reflash to stock. Just babied it around for a couple days until i had the chance to take it in. Soooo nice to get rid on the rumble for a while. Debating just going back to stock lol.
