Default Reese Tuning Evo RS RTA

What a wonderful event the RTA was. Beautiful skies and great weather temps. Upon arrival to Rosamond the weather wasn't that assuring. Cloudy skies and thunderstorms. Stayed at the sleezy motel 8 in Lancaster. Atmosphere wasn't that secure either. Sheriffs and suspects mingle thoughout the evening.

On to the race. Unloaded the RS to get a feel for the weather and map sensor on the AEM. Poured some MS109 into the tank (half tank to be exact) off to the first practice session. Please keep in mind. I am a very practical and frugal person. I still had the Toyo R1R 255/35/18s from the previous time attack. First lap out 1:31 with 19 psi. Wastegate for the Tial 44mm. Front splitter came off. No aero. Back to the pits. Repaired the splitter ( Thanks Dustin!!!) Back out. 1:30 22 psi same tires same gas no canards. Back to the pits. HOLE in the high pressure power steering hose. 2 hour drive to Robis house. Arrive back to the track at 12:30 am. Replace hose, change tires, more ms109,new oil, filter, coolant. New canards provided from Robi. I didnot sleep a wink that night. I was at the track overnight. First time out new tires 1:298. The progress continues. Figuring we had won the race after that session we had decided we would try to break our own record. 2nd session 1:28 with 24psi MS109 full legal street class applicable rules applied. For those of you that dont know. The car gets techd three times in one day IF you are a winner. For those that have never won wouldn't know that after the car comes off the track from the hot lap it is flagged directly to the pits where it is quarantied for inspection. SO ALL IN ALL MY RS WAS TECHD Three times within one day. Like I have mentioned in a previous reply there were two TT customers there who were racing and saw my car in person several times.

All in all. The car was very stable and hooked up very well in all the high speed corners.

I would like to thank ALL of my sponsors and support.

Buschur Racing (David, I thank you for the well balanced engine and support for all the cars needs)

MIL.SPEC , aby thank you for the help and throttle body,100 cell cat. Works great and performs as it should. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Lee's Cycle. Jeremy, thanks for the driving and continuous feedback.

Robispec. Robert all this would not happen without the great KW shocks, alignment and consistant help.

Thank you dustin for your eagerness to repair my POS and get the splitter rigged up.

Yokohama for the ADVAN neova ad08 street tires. They are the best for the class.

Here are a few pics of the trip and my car.

Thanks for looking.

No the nuts passed tech. They are a great mod for a street car. LOL. I love my nuts. They hang low and give the car some personality. Truly. My RS has came a long way from when I first got her. Some people car her a trans because she is a girl and has nuts. LMAO
